I don't understand how anyone can not like The Boss. His lyrics a beautiful and real and watch him sing them live, watch his face, he means that shit. He belts it out of his heart its real. I remember listening to Springsteen in the car with my dad and even as a little kid being moved. Now im 18 and a musician myself and I cant think of another artist who means more to me.

ME AND MY BROTHER LOST OUR PARENTS AT A YOUNG AGE. THE ONLY THING I EVER DID WAS PLAY BALL AND ALL HE EVER DID WAS MUSIC. This song is not about vengance or retaliation, but the force of will of an individual, such as the ones who sacrificed their lives on the 9/11 attacks. It also makes reference to Jesus Christ's resucitation, who after being brutally tortured, rose from his tomb with glory. This song also means the strength that people posses in order to overcome difficult times.
