@ElMakz Yeah, Peruvians are somewhat similar to Mexicans: both countries are proud of their history and indian roots, both have an amazing cuisine, and both use their richer neighbors as a scapegoat to blame for anything.

@gonzalo060375 cause peruvians hate chileans cause chile stole half of their country in a war that happend over 100 years ago and they cannot let it go. They teach peruvian kids in school that chileans are evil and bad etc. And also cause they have complex cause peruvians are ugly and hated by all latino america so they have to lie to themselfs that they are good looking the best and betterthan everyone else, especially better than chileans. It is just stupid to behave like that.

@leloxord You can get everything you mentioned in the USA, and more... Chile doesn't hold a monopoly on Frankfurters.

Hahaha, well these Chilean hot dogs completos are very common. Indeed, there are persons that eat 2 or 3 of these.

Hmmm, he should be focused on food and random cultural stuff, but politics. I'm not xenophob at all, but I just can't stand when foreigners talk so easily about our political/social issues after reading a 5-minutes-handbook. Btw, this Chile episode didn't fulfill my expectations... maybe El Hoyo was a good begining, but he missed some excellent restaurants in Santiago or Valparaíso, where he could show our products in an more attractive way - at least he didn't fu**** us as he did to the Argies

Wow, those completos are too big, which would definitely not even fit in my mouth oh.. By the way, they have normal size ones and they're so yummy; me hungry. With one completo, you stay full and happily smiling. I miss my country and no I never got sick from the stomach eating any kind of food over there. On the contrary, the food over there was pretty much organic, so yeah, you had to wash the vegetables extremely well, but that's how it is when you grow organic foods. They're much healthier!

Last thing, why is it that I found Peruvians swarming each video about Chile. I mean, who cares where's Pisco from? I don't care much about where the grocery I buy is from.1/3 of the world knows about Chilean wine, I don't care if they drink it or clean the toilet with it, nor if they think is Peruvian, Brazilian, etc.Why is it that Peruvians keep talking all the time about their food and stuff? I'm almost sure those guys spend more time in the kitchen than our women, LOL

Bourdain is (well) paid for eating from the trash can on each country he goes to, and Chileans took that seriously, by taking him to the most random street completeria they could find, where even beggars can have a lunch for $1 LOL. Let alone you enjoy your wait watching your meal being handled without gloves.I'm Chilean, and this guy must consider himself lucky, not to get Hepatitis after eating that stuff, LOL |
