I was living on Oahu when this happened and I recall that everyone was just watching and listening to the radio just waiting for news of this tsunami in which thank god it never arrived.

Yes. Thank god there was no tsunami. I live on the island of Maui. I was sleeping over my best friends house cause we had a photo shoot for our senior portrait and we had to cancel. So he had to hit higher ground. And my aunty woke us up like 3:00am. So we went to my aunty's sisters house and we stayed up all morning just watching the news. The water was just coming in fast and going back out and coming back in and getting dirty by the second. but there was no tsunami. Thank you lord jesus!
