Jacob's Ladder Plot: A tortured man is caught in a middle-ground between hallucination and reality in this supernatural thriller. Jacob Singer (Tim Robbins) is a Vietnam veteran who is haunted by a horrible experience in battle that deeply troubles him, though he can't clearly recall the details. Jacob also cannot free himself of his anxieties over the death of his son. Though well educated, Jacob works as a letter carrier and has become romantically involved with one of his co-workers, Jezzie (Elizabeth Pena), after divorcing his wife. Jacob's tenuous hold on reality starts to slip as he begins seeing visions of monsters and demons all around him; he suffers severe panic attacks related to the chaos that may be reality, or may exist only in his mind. Jacob seeks counsel from Louis (Danny Aiello), a kindly chiropractor, as his ex-wife Sarah (Patricia Kalember), fellow Vietnam vet Paul (Pruitt Taylor Vince), and enigmatic stranger Michael (Matt Craven) all try to help the tortured Jacob. Macaulay Culkin appears briefly as Jacob's son, while Jason Alexander, Ving Rhames, and Eriq LaSalle also highlight the supporting cast.

@assasinzX100 No misunderstandings. I just made one comment 5 months ago based on all the band comments. I'm not a fan. It would be like if some musician you don't care for loved the movie, then all the fans of the musician cluttered the comments. I actually didn't even care that much.lol Just enough to type something for a few seconds.lol Thanks for clearing up the A7x/JL corrolation.

@bigstabby I agree that it is messed up that there are so manny people who are posting these short comments about something unrelated to the video. It's just that I am a fan of A7x and I feel that its one thing to bag on a stupid comment, but a bit to far to bag on a band or idea, afterall A7x did'nt show up to make stupid comments right. Great movie and video though. I'm glad we can clear up any missunderstandins and resolve our problems.

@assasinzX100 My bad on the "trolling" comment. For some reason I thought you said something about trolling. Other than that, if I find it annoying that a bunch of people in the comments are referencing some band as opposed to the video, I'm gonna say it. I have as much right to this as you do your opinion. This is how the comment section works.lol

@bigstabby I refer you to my other comments

@bigstabby Furthermore this video may not be directly connected to A7x but A7x is connected to this video. If the two promote eachother, without them baging eachother or causing hate comments, then who should we be to argue the sharing of interests?
assasinzX100 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
@bigstabby As for the trolling comment, I don't think it is ever right. Just to clear any confusion to troll is to post a comment directed to some idea or ect. with the intent of invoking emotion such as anger with no backing up your claim (example being mother fucking shit faces enough with the color orange). If you have a problem with comments posted by A7x fans then anounce to them your specific problem.

@bigstabby There is an overabundance of A7x comments because A7x has some similar themes, I would agree that A7x fans would have no reason to bag on this video, but if they want to say that the two are similar or that they first heard of this movie because A7x I think thats fine. I only heard of this movie because A7x. I would also say that it is ok for anyoneto get there opinoin across so long as it dos'nt cross the line.

@assasinzX100 There IS reason. There is an overabundance of A7x comments. That's the reason. Also, don't imply that it's okay for A7x fans to get their opinion across, but no one else has the right to. That's like saying there's no excuse for A7x fans to "troll" a JC video. It's not trolling. They're called subjective beliefs. Deal with it. The world is full of them. But I think I'm more inclined the right to criticize A7x fans since this video has nothing to do with them.

@bigstabby Theres no real reason to bag on A7x or AC. There is nothing wrong with either of them. Theres no excuse to troll A7x & AC fans. Furthermore A7x is a big supporter of this movie, the nightmare music video was tributed to this movie because the Rev loved it.
