This is the video (the second half, mainly) that may be the catalyst for me at least visiting Japan, if not moving there. I hear a lot of general horror stories about foreigners and their experience but I don't get to see how that person really is/was in Japan. I never had a reference point to go off of where I could gauge my own possible experience if I were there. However, this video shined quite the light on my dilemma. Sure, this video is quite old, but it helped me! Thank you.

Blowing your nose is not ok, but I have a friend who has been to Japan and she said that people fart there all the time, well, what I mean is not about the noise, but they don't care about the smell. Like, if there's a room with two people, or even in a queue, they would just fart. Is that true?

We tend to forget, that Japan is an island (many...) so, cultures develop differently. We here in Europe pick up a lot from our neighbors.Of course the Japanese like to forget how RUDE they were during their occupation of other countries.
