http://www.redlettermedia.com - Here it is folks! Finally! My epic review of Star Wars: Episode 2 Attack of the Clones. Part review satire, part parody, part commentary, all prequel hating vitriolic comedy. This transformative work delves into this film in detail as well as more general topics about why the prequels didn't quite "work" for most audiences. Part one is an overview about expectations and how the audience is left in the dark to fend for themselves as far as figuring out what's happening in the movie.

8:52 'The Last Starfighter'. Notice how that one guy looks like a Drac from 'Enemy Mine' (which came out a year later). By the way, Davidge's Drac buddy's name was "Jeriba" (nicknamed "Jerry" by Davidge). Kinda sounds like a cross between "Jar Jar" and "Jabba."9:07 'They Live'. A movie which was part of the inspirado for the game 'Flashback' which also involved an eyepiece device that resembled the things @ 9:05 - As for the PKE prop, it was probably used for convenience rather as an homage.

@NekoSOM I remember seeing someone with a Safe for work version of these reviews. But I can't find it anywhere I kind of undervalued it at the time. It has to be somewhere in the plinkett related videos (that is videos about redlettermedia and not redlettermedia itself)

@MasterEliteSamChief I personally find them funny, but I do wish he'd put out...uh, serial killer-free reviews. He has so many good points...hell, I'd show it to my own mother, who's a Star Wars fan. But I'm not showing her that. Come on Plinkett!

@Wingguitar26 Maybe you should re-read my post. The only tragedy here is you.

@Wingguitar26 even if you have a good idea/concept for a story, or if the overall big picture is interesting, if the story telling itself fails on a whole, you can't become invested to the story. It's not about the end of the journey by rather the experience journey itself. At least that's what I thought was the point of this review was, and why so many people dislike the prequels, of course that's just my opinion.

I hate the torture scenes in these reviews.

@DorfMcAxebeard Watch out we got a badass over here. Combine all six Star Wars movies together and you get a Tragedy starring Anakin/Darth Vader as the Hero-Villian, sound familiar? Why not take an English class sometime dumbass.

@Wingguitar26 In one ear and out the other.Do not sully Macbeth, it was one of Shakespeare's better works. The Star Wars prequels are closer to a comedy than a tragedy, unless you take into account how tragic it is that there are people who like them. Though that is pretty fucking hilarious.Man, I was having a bad day before I read your post.

@Wingguitar26 I'm sure that is all you hear. I guess when one's IQ dips into single-digits that's about all one can retain or process.
