I'm pretty tired of people whining about how there isn't any good music today. There is, you just aren't looking. It's not all Katy Perry and Nickelback; our generation has Adele, The Roots, Mumford & Sons, TV on the Radio, Iron & Wine, The Black Keys, and countless underground or up-and-coming artists you and I have never heard. Sure, there's crap today, but there was crap back in Jim's day (disco, anyone?). Don't let a rose-colored view of the past make you miss out on the present.

Great song, I deeply love Jim Croce's music, I consider him a real genius. Simple lyrics, simple music...simply magic!!! who knows how many other masterpieces we lost when he died...Anyway...thank you for post it!
