I liked the smile at 2 : 30 or something of pierce ,not like the phony smiles of the other judges especially the other man . Anyway ,WHY did the judges point the fact that she was a disapointment in the beginning ?For the show and the media circus after this of course.

@ajunx1986 And what does that say about our culture that HE is the famous, scucesfull one ? For all I know she may be a dispicable human being. But we judge on looks/talent. She could be a witch and get away with murder 'cause she can sing. She can sing like an angel and be treated like sh*t because she doesn't look like the blond judge. This singular video says so much about 'show biz' (at the very least), popular culture etc. I should be used to it by now but I'm still always shocked

@Morlun91 I like to think that. No doubt shes put up with more than anyone should have to over the years - probably numb to it. She was a Princess amongst shallow, heartless scum of the earth that evening. So what, she redeemed herself by singing beautifully ? My question is what would the reaction have been if she fell flat on her face ? Not worthy to breathe our air 'cause she isn't justified by looking like the blond judge ? What a world.Enough of the negativity, time to watch again

@TheLinkys Same here. What a nice suprise huh ? I can't get past at how cruel people can be. If she had the outward appearences of that female 'judge', she would have been greeted kindly..What a f/u world we live in.At times I think I'd be better off leaving. Its the occasional run in to people like Ms Boyle though that keeps me going. Thank you Ms Boyle for sharing your talent with us.Frankly, I thouht u should have walked off the stage after the 1st 'insult' by I do 'unerstand'.

@dragonlove666able I've never seen this show or know who these people are but when I saw 'Britian' on the wall behind her, I assumed one thing: A Brit audience would never be so crude as to make a performer feel uncomfortable - especially based on 'looks'. I'm old and going on what I knew about Brits from years ago. I was stunned at the udiences extreme rudeness. As an American I know exactly how 'Hollywood' types are.GB has obviously lost 'something'. Bless you Susan.
