Best Part about ther 90's,no kids being locked in their rooms 8-12 hours a day playing call of duty on xbox 360 while screaming "faggot" and "nigger" over the headset.

@innoutpandaexpress I believe TvTropes calls it Nostalgia Filter. We see our childhood years as the best, while filtering out all the garbage that occurred as well.We don't want to think of our beloved childhood years having anything wrong in them.That said, I remember my dad criticizing me watching Tiny Toons, while complaining that it wasn't as good as Looney Tunes, The Smurfs or Tom and Jerry and that he was sad such bad shows where on TV at the time.
